Sergio Moure
COMPOSER
Sergio Moure de Oteyza, was born in La Coruña in 1969, studies armony, music composition, arrangement and guitar at the Modern Music and Jazz Hall of the “Conservatorio del Liceo de Barcelona”. He works as a composer and teacher for ESCAC (Escuela Superior de Cine de Cataluña) and as a composer and musical coordinator for CECC (Centro de Estudios Cinematográficos de Cataluña). In 2004 he creates the soundtrack for “Unconscious”, that supposes his first film score, achieving a Goya (the spanish Oscar's) and a Barcelona film award nomination. This work was followed by the soudtrack of “Cargo”, composed working together with Stephen Warbeck (Oscar winner for “Shakespeare In Love”) as well as other television works such as TV Movie “Ecoes” directed by Oriol Paulo or “Relics” of Toño López. His last feature film soundtracks have been “A good man”directed by Juan Martínez Moreno,and “Returns”directed by Luis Avilés.
Recently released the film "Kidnapped"directed by Miguel Angel Vivas, produced by Vaca Films (cell 211) with original soundtrack of Sergio Moure.
In 2009, Galicia Symphony Orchestra premiered at the La Coruña Opera Palace (Spain), his Symphony No. 1 Admónitum.
